Step One: Take the “Boat & Brew” Adventure

River & Trail Outfitters’ “Boat & Brew” Adventure is a fun, easy-going day of sightseeing and discovery. Your adventure begins with a relaxing canoe or kayak cruise down the Monocacy River. Enjoy 5.8 miles of Maryland’s natural beauty along the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains. At journey’s end, you’ll visit Frederick’s famous Barley & Hops Microbrewery. Your trip includes a guided tour of the brewery, a sampling of six microbrews and a selection of appetizers.

“Boat & Brew” is held on select Saturdays from May – October
On average, the tour runs from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
